Rockhill Investments is a respected commercial and residential turnkey developer in North Texas. From raw land investments to construction management, we bring experience and leadership to our development partners.
We offer deep expertise in land development and construction management, with a focus on residential development throughout Texas.
In addition, we offer consulting services to investors, land owners and developers, both commercial and residential, to evaluate and expedite proposed development projects.
Our History & Philosophy
Rockhill Investments was founded in 2009 by Ryan Griffin, Brett Brantley and Clay Thomas (originally called Griffin Brantley Thomas).
Over the last decade, our team has had a hand in the tremendous growth and development of the North Texas region.
Many team members grew up in the area and have witnessed firsthand the transformation of what used to be primarily farmland not so long ago.
We understand the integrity, careful planning, thought and attention to detail it takes to execute land development and construction projects that build thriving communities.

Our Team
Ryan Griffin
Managing Partner
As a Managing Partner of Rockhill Investments, Ryan Griffin is responsible for guiding the firm in its acquisition and development of commercial and residential projects. Drawing from more than 20 years of real estate industry experience in the North Texas region, Griffin has helped the firm grow its portfolio to more than $100 million in retail, flex warehouse, office, medical office and single family properties.
He also serves as president of FCS Construction, LP, a mid-sized excavation company with 285 employees and about $80 million in revenue.
Prior to founding Rockhill, he was co-owner of Griffin & Brantley, LLC, which managed the construction of more than 30 single-family developments in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Griffin has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and real estate from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Brett Brantley
Managing Partner
Brett Brantley is a Managing Partner at Rockhill Investments. Using his keen understanding of finance and 20 years of construction experience, including ground-up developments, Brantley oversees the firm’s finances, accounting and asset management.
He is responsible for underwriting new investments and working with other partners on strategic planning and the investment and development strategy for the business.
Previously, Brantley was co-owner of Griffin & Brantley, LLC with Ryan Griffin, a firm that managed the construction of more than 30 single-family developments in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Brantley holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Clay Thomas
Managing Partner
Clay Thomas serves as a Managing Partner for Rockhill Investments. Thomas has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
Dave Johnson
Managing Partner
Dave’s primary focus is the development, sourcing, and procurement of financing and capital relationships with the goal of achieving long-term, positive results for its investment partners. Dave has an extensive background in the hotel industry, where he spent 17 years at Wyndham Hotels serving as President. Later he became Chairman and CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality, recognized as one of the premier hotel management companies in the world, with over 1,200 hotels under management. Dave co-founded Horizon Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm which recently finalized its merger with Rockhill Capital. Dave received his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Business Economics.
Mark Smith
Managing Partner
Mark is responsible for all investor relations, sourcing new land investment opportunities, and overseeing all financial operations. Mark’s professional real estate experience includes the acquisition, management, and disposition of residential and commercial properties over the past 30 years. He has a wide range of real estate expertise including finance, project management, and development. He has previously served as President of Smith Douglas Real Estate, and as CFO of Smith Exploration, a family-owned oil and gas company. Mark co-founded Horizon Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm, which recently finalized its merger with Rockhill Capital. Mark received his bachelor’s degree from Southwest Texas State University in Accounting.
Brent Libby
Executive Vice President
Brent Libby is Executive Vice President at Rockhill Investments and is integral to the acquisition, disposition, development and management of the firm’s projects. Libby built his real estate industry acumen through a series of senior-level positions focused on land acquisition for multiple premier homebuilders in the Dallas/Fort Worth region.
Prior to that, he honed his market skills as a partner with Tomlin Investments, Ltd., a land investment and development company based in Addison, Texas, that acquired large tracts of land with a focus on adding value through entitlements and special financing districts for various partnerships.
A native of Dallas, Brent earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and is a licensed Texas real estate broker.
Stephanie Centofonti
Project Manager
Stephanie Centofonti is a Project Manager for Rockhill Capital & Investments where she is responsible for ensuring the smooth management and transition of projects. She has spent nearly 15 years developing her skills in commercial, industrial and residential real estate as a land development consultant, engineer and project manager.
In her career, she has touched on many aspects of the industry including planning and zoning entitlements, construction management, bid scheduling, field coordination and modeling.
Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of Connecticut.
Neal Heckel
Project Manager
Neal Heckel has more than 30 years of experience in large and small scale land development projects. Heckel has developed over 7,000 single-family residential lots throughout his career. His experience includes oversight management of new site evaluation, entitlements, engineering, utility district management, survey, quality control, budgeting, contract administration, field supervision and project close out. He has extensive experience with the development staffs of most Dallas Metroplex and Houston area cities. He also retains an excellent relationship and reputation with both the technical service companies and construction contractors in those areas.
Heckel holds a Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering degree from Texas A&M University (1984).
Jennifer Alexander
Project Manager
Jennifer Alexander joined Rockhill Investments in 2019 to assist with environmental and real estate transactions.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering technology with 25 years of consulting and project management experience in a broad range of environmental areas. Her project experience includes environmental consulting and assessments, project management, coordination of field remediation activities for soil and groundwater, quality assurance, job cost oversight, customer/regulatory relations, and safety objective maintenance.
In the early 1990s, she was instrumental in the startup of an environmental remediation firm, ENTACT, and facilitated its growth from 6 to 450 associates, ultimately generating over $180 million in revenue per year without acquisition or outside investment interest. The success of the company was directly related to the company culture developed at its inception, and ENTACT became a premier environmental remediation company for industrial operations and real estate development.
By the late 1990s, her primary responsibility was developing and managing a consulting division, including litigation, brownfields redevelopment, municipal setting designation, and groundwater cases. In 2001, she obtained and managed a pre-funded $15 million consulting contract from Halliburton to address environmental conditions at facilities in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and South America.
Upon completion of this contract in 2010, Alexander retired but continued to work part-time for ENTACT while pursuing other interests and assisting in the management of other partnerships.
Lance Fontenot
Project Manager
Lance Fontenot serves as a Project Manager for Rockhill Investments, providing oversight and supervision for multi-faceted development projects. He has been in the industry for over 25 years, with over 13 years of operations experience and 14 years in project management.
Reecie Powrie
Executive Assistant
In her role as Executive Assistant, Reecie Powrie supports the partners and staff in the day-to-day operations of Rockhill Investments. Having worked in the land development industry for more than 20 years, the executive team relies on her skills, knowledge and fortitude to manage the firm’s administrative functions efficiently.
Prior to joining Rockhill, Reecie worked for J. Baker Corporation and Dowdey, Anderson & Associates.
